I believe in celebrating more and making a big deal out of the moments that feel like a big deal. As a designer who’s created countless bachelorette weekends for other people, I wanted to throw something unforgettable for myself, regardless of my relationship status. For my 30th birthday, I designed a full weekend celebration with a retro 1950s Miami disco flare. Inspired by 13 Going on 30 and the nostalgia of girlhood, the event brought together playful, punchy visuals and feel-good energy. I created a cohesive suite of stationery, curated gift bags, and custom merchandise, including koozies, hats, tote bags, bottle labels, and party decor—all tied together by a bold color palette and vintage-inspired typography. The result was an immersive, joy-filled experience that celebrated the magic of growing up while staying forever young.
